Zone Conference- Grenada

 We had President Herrington and his wife fly into Grenada for Zone Conference. The ^ hour meeting went well. Learned a lot of things for contacting. We can always improve.

We have been assisting an old widow that cant walk or move reall. She has a care taker that forgets her  a lot. She lives in a very big, rundown, mansion. We assist her in anyway we can. Sometimes, we stop by randomly and she is happy because she needed someone to shut the front door. Hope the situation for her improves.

We have been getting up really early alot this week to cut bush for Ricky. He is a member. We feed all of the grass to his sheep. It is always fun. even with the blisters :)

We also had many events this week playing sports with local youth. That includes mostly futbol, and basketball.

The Zl's had a baptism Saturday. Super cool. 

I also gave a talk in church yesterday about amalikiah, and how we shouldn't let Satan bring us down, even just a tad. We should never come down from our mount. I just love where I am at in the BoM. The War chapters are so awesome!

Strengthening the Less Active

Well, another week.

We had 3 lessons with Martin this week! Two of them were with a super cool member (Ricky)

It helps so much to have a member who can easily relate with other locals. Unfortunately, He couldn't make it to church for unknown reasons...

We were stopped by a drunk this week who took our hands and insisted praying to Joseph Smith and President Thomas S. Monson...... We gave him a WoW track and left him to read that.

Elder McIntyre and I visited a less active Family (The Maturines) They own a small bakery and needed some help. Yes, they hooked us up with some bake goods after that ;)

Although we ended up giving them to a super poor Less-active, single, mother of 6 kids! They are going through a tough time right now and we have been visiting them. 

BUT, They unexpectedly came to church! All of them! It made our day!

ALSO, I bought my first cutlass! and We helped "Ricky" in his garden on Saturday. I love it so much!

We ended up cutting grass for his sheep. Still a lot of fun.

Happy July 4th!/ A Hole in my Foot!

This week was good,

We are seeing a larger increase of Americans at church due to people returning to med school here. It is fun to meet new people all of the time!

This whole week, I have had a long, black needle like thorn in my ankle. Got approved to go to the doctor and get it checked out. They decided, to numb me, and cut me open! HAHA! It was crazy, and I spent most of this week resting so this giant hole in my foot will heal.

BUT I am all good!

I love this place!!!!

We also had a member lesson this week for a little girl, and the spirit was strong there, as well as another lesson we had with: Martin.

We have Martin set for the end of this month. It seems as if he has been preparing for 26 years for this!!! We believe he is ready for baptism!

We just love him so much. Everyone here!
