Moved To Black Rock

Here's a picture I painted for for the Branch president in Oistins.
I know it is garbage, but he insisted I make a painting for him.

Well, Seems like Oistins is doing great.
E. grant and Mijangos and I were having lots of fun. The members sure love us.
That changed when I moved to the other side of the island and reopend an old area called: White Hall.
ELDER LUZAYADIO from Congo of Africa finally reached here after 1 year of waiting!
It is good to have him.
He doesn't speak English well at all. We have have to do "charades" somtimes for comunication, but I love him. he is super nice and kind.
He had many miracles while traveling here. He completely by-passed security, and the plane waited an additional 45 minutes for him to get on board. The Lord is at the helm.
Saturday morning, I met him with the Ap's and the mission president at the mission home. He asked for me to give him a blessing right there, and vice-versa he gave one to me afterwards. The Ap's, who speak freanch, translated both blessings.
It was a neat experience I will never forget .
President Fisher told me, and I soon relized, that I needed to learn french to help this new Elder learn English.
I am grateful for the challenge!
I hope to find much success in this, and find an even greater love for my mission.
For P-day we went to the wld life reserve. BUT we missed the feeding hours, so monkeys were scarce.
It was fun still though.
Well, Thats all for this week.
I love you all! have a great week and stay safe.

22 Months!/ Unexpected Transfer Call

I reached 22 months, and it feels weirder an weirder every day. Time is slipping away.
This week, President Waldron lost a chess match and had to take us out to eat. He bought us lunch and drove us to a nice beach side restaurant. He is like our body guard... NO one messes with us when He is around.
We also did some Garden work with him and his parents. They run a garden on church owned property.... not sure why, but it was fun!
A couple nights ago, We were in Oistins, and a lot of bad  things happened, and lessons fell through and we were far from home, and it was late too.
I just sat down on a lot of grass and just laid down I was so tired. We were miles away from home, and I shouted at a car turning a corner and he stopped and got out to talk to us. He saw that we needed a ride and so he took us ALL of the way home! "Orley" was his name... BLESS his heart. I will never forget that name!
A tender Mercy of the Lord! We do our best, and Jesus does the rest.
We taught Jonothans mom this week, and she was so anti against us.... That was sad....  All people need to do, is listen and "TRY' our words....
I perceived a phone call Friday morning and The Ap's gave me a Transfer call to Move to White Hall, Black Rock Barbados. I will be with an French African Elder (Who has been waiting for his Visa to come for a WHOLE entire year!)
I will teach him English and It should be fun!
I am, sad to know that i am leaving here. I will deeply miss president Waldron and many other members.
I join him this Thursday. We need prayers so that this elder can make it. This is his THIRD attempt to fly to the mission! hopefully his new USA visa will work for him.
The church IS TRUE. I love these people. I love my mission.
I would like to hear from friends, so send me an email.
Have a great week fam!

Happy 4th of July!

We decided that we needed to visit all of the members in our area, so we did and while doing we so, The members are feeding us in the process, SO it is a win-win.
Happy 4th of July to everyone. I miss this holiday, and cant wait to celebrate it next year with friends and family.
To celebrate the holiday here, we bought a clean, but large octopus, or a "Sea cat"
I cooked it. I wish i would have fried it, but it tasted great steamed.

President Waldron has some rabbits out back, and this week two females had a total of 12 together! BUT one of the mothers didn't feed here babies, and some others died as well, leaving three healthy one left.
I gave a talk in sacrament meeting and I used Ephesian 2:19 and related it for everyone in the branch to help gather Israel. I felt happy a bout it, I just hope that people will act on it.
We taught lessons to many people including, "Leanne", then another couple "Andre and Adicia" We taught both of them a different times the Word of Wisdom, and FULLY understood it, and made a  commitment to keep it.
Just feels great when people are "ALL-IN"

I am good all-in-all.
Cant believe I got like less than 10 weeks left. The mission is flying by.
Love you!

A New Mission President & Companion - July 2, 2018

Elder Mijangos, from Guatemala, is a riot! He is super fun, and a really great teacher!
He s very loving, and a great addition to the companionship. Yes, we are in a trio. We are all motivated to work very hard, so we are looking for those miracles.
Before He arrived, we got to house some of my old friends from Sint Maarten. They were in transit to different countries. I have really come to love E. Jackson + Klunker.
I was biking this week, and my ankle got punctured by the pedal on my bike. It is very deep, and I am worried about infection this time. Hope it heals quick.
President and Sister Fisher arrived on Friday, and the Herringtons left Saturday. They are from California, so that is cool. They have given their ALL to fulfill this calling. This is devotion and conversion at its finest. They are extremely loving, and excited. I cant imagine being a mission president here because, this is an enormous task to tackle. They are always in my prayers.
I felt sick in my heart this week. I have times where I am unsure what to do, and how to handle things, but I found Alma 42:31. I know that I have chosen to do this. I love my mission, and I love the people.
I know a surety of what we teach and share is true. [Mathew 14:33]
Have the best week ever!

Z.C./Transfer Calls/Herringtons Farewell

We had our last Zone conference with the Herringtons. They are such devoted, and wonderful people.
President Herrington, who is also a temple sealer, gave powerful words of eternal life and eternal marriage. He gave powerful blessings to all of the missionaries collectivly. What a great and powerful meeting.
The Herringtons had a farewell party at another church. Members gave them presents, and missionaries gave him ties, a pretty plaque, and a custom leather belt.
The Herringtons leave this Thursday, and the Fischers arrive this Wednesday.
I will miss them, but luckily, I will get to see them at the next reunion before this next General Conference.
This week we had a soursop ripening on our kitchen counter and Sister Waldron made it into juice.... It is SO good! It is pure nectar!
We are teaching two awesome referrals, who live right next to the Sandals beach resort in our area...... Believe me, this aint no vacation. They are super awesome! They read the BoM quite a bit.
Transfer calls arrived Saturday, and E. Grant and I are training together here in Kingsland! We are truing a fresh greeny from Guatemala! E. Mijangos!
Cant wait to welcome him!
E. Grant is super excited to train. I am too. This is my second time.
I officially have less than two transfers, and almost 12 weeks left!
The mission is great and TRUE.
Have a great week!
