14 Months!/ Raynol's & Theo's Baptism

This week I  began learning and doing all of the roles that the senior couple does here for immigration and visa stuff. It is really hard and a new world to me. I am doing my best though.
I am also in the process of closing another apartment here in St georges, and it has been a night mare to clean up after old past missionaries.

We visited a Less active I have never seen before. Her name was: Sister Beatrice. She had a stroke a few years back and hasnt been able to come to church since. She is a real sweet heart though she is difficult to understand, she reads her Book of mormon everyday and was crying so much when she saw us! All I wanted to do was to give her a big hug. bro. Cox took care of that for me.
She was so happy to see us. We look forward to see her again.
While finishing the book of mormon this week, i read over e
ther 12:32. It talks about hope. I cannot share how I felt reading the 7th chapter of Moroni.... Just go read it for yourself.

This week we had 2 baptisms! Raynol and Theo Streete. they are two wild, but cute kids. They were baptized by a med student, bro. Burk... he is so cool.
Elder Orme and I both confirmed one in sacrament yesterday. It was my first confirmation in the mission. It was really neat.
I love and miss you all! i especially love hearing from the ward family! Have great week!

November 14, 2017 update

Elder Newman and I had a trade-off in Grenville, Wow, I love that place. we did a lot of walking on this big airstrip there. look on google earth, and you will find it.
elder Orme has been driving this week..... and I thought I was gunna die so many times... lol
We taught Kendell more, and he came to church. We also helped a Less-activie with his bakery. We washed the big pans, and he was extremely thankful. It has been nice to get to know him better.

this week, 2 recent converts have left the church due to viewing anti mormon material. It has been a extremely heart breaking thing. Not to mention I interviewed one of them...

Well, I love and miss you all. Love hearing from the ward back home. Have a great week!

November 7, 2017- update

We got to stay in a hotel when we flew to Barbados. The bed was so comfy..
The MLC was awesome! I got to meet all of the french side elders. It was so awesome! I have been a round president a lot this week. He drove us in Barbados, and also came to Grenada for a zone conference. As a solo Zone Lord, I have been super busy with preparations all week.
The zone conference was a lot of fun. I had my interview with president. It has been like 4 1/2 months since I have had one.

A crazy story while teaching: "Joso" is an investigator and a collector. So, he had a pet dog that died last august, and he has been keeping it in his freezer ever since!!!! Sorry for the nasty pic, but we thought it was hilarious!
As always, so much to say.
I love and miss you all,
Have a great week!

Happy Halloween! + Picking up Chicks!

Happy Halloween to everyone back home! We had a branch trunk-or-treat on Saturday with some med students, and locals. It was nice. Lots of kids showed up.

The week was quick. We invited the senior couple on the island(the Mills) to join us for a lesson with Kendell. That went super well, but he didn't come to church :P

We did some service for Sis. P. this week. She had us vaccinate 1400 new born chicks!!! It was super cool! I have never given a shot, but I thought  I would give it a "SHOT"!.
(HAHA) The sister missionaries just showed up and just took pictures... LOL.

We are starting to teach a part member family that is returning to church. A single mom with, soon to be, 7 kids!! They are a handful, but we are going to teach the 2 older ones. Ages 10 and 8.

Elder Orme and I will be flying to Barbados this week for a Mission Leadership Conference. It will be our first for both of us. I ask for your prayers in safe travel.

So much to say in so little time. I will say, I love and miss you all. Have a wonderful holiday!

P.S (can you tell who has been out the longest by the color of the shirt?)

RAIN RAIN RAIN -Oct.23rd-update

It started raining last Monday and hasn't stopped since. it amazes me how much water there is in the sky.
Elder Kujanpää left this week :( SO very sad. I will miss that guy/elder.
However, My new greeny (Edler Orme my "son") Arrived in Grenada. He is from Las Vegas Nevada!
This week started off rough for him. He got really homesick, but he is ok now. After meeting the AWESOME memebrs, he is growing in confidence. We have been working super hard despite this rain. It is so wet here. Not even lying.
Well sorry this is short.
I love and miss you all! Take care!
